help with dating this

help putting date on this jonathan cookes knife

been seriously collecting for around a 16 months now, have been able to gather a few nice pieces thanks to this site

and the people here. I dont have but 2 books a old goins from 78 and recently got a knife collectors guide. I have mostly watched this site and what you gentlemen collect and show so once again thanks

Cato, according to Levine's the Jonathan Crookes knives were made from 1780 to 1827. Nice old knife, looks like horn handles. What a beefy backspring and tang!

Saw a Jonathan Crookes (pistol&heart)
in the 'Bay within last few days.
Looked pretty good but since I don't know enough
about them not to be duped I moved on.
I can probably backtrack and find a link if needed.
