looking for a value on this Camillus knife

Hi guys, I have been searching the internet and cannot find any prices to help me value this knife I came across. It is a 2 blade folding knife. Here is a pic of it. It has the #26 stamped on the one side of the big blade and the crossed swords and Camillus stamp on the other side of the blade. Any ideas? Knife is in mint condition. no nicks or pitting or scratches on handle.

I see several have sold in the last month on ebay that were new in the box with papers & sheath.
They sold in the $45 to $55 range. A couple went as high as $75.

Based on that, without the box, papers or sheath, I would say it should sell in the $35 to $40 range.
That is quite a bargain for such a good knife, I may have to pick up one for myself.

Thanks Dale for the quick reply. I also have two other knives , a Case and a Kabar , same condition, they did not come in their boxes. I have not purchased them yet. The seller was cleaning out her Fathers store and came across these 3 knives stashed in a drawer and they were sealed in plastic bags, no idea why they were there as all the other knives he had been selling had been sold long ago. So when she showed them to me I immediately thought of my nephews and told her I would do some research to see how much they may be worth. I suppose that the case and Kabar would be about the same price range?

Thanks Joe, I am very ignorant when it comes to the knife history. I was reading all these posts and looking at all the wonderful knives and had some questions come to mind.
Would anyone mind posting some basic info about knives in general? Or maybe someone would just be willing to answer my questions here on this post?

What is a Tang Stamp? and What do the numbers mean ? (ie: #26)

The "tang" is the flat part of the blade just above where it pivots, the name of the company that made or sold the knife and the pattern number, ie: #26, is stamped into the metal.

The Case knife you mentioned may be the most valuable of the bunch, please post a picture if you have some

Thanks, I also just saw the tab that had all the definitions for the parts of the knife under the knife directory tab.. ..I will check out that link also.
Here is the pics I have of the other 2 knives...the Case and the Kabar..
. Case brand knife, 5 1/2 in blade, CaseXX on one side of big blade and 6265 SAB

2. Kabar brand knife, 5 1/2 in blade, Kabar 1184 USA on big blade.
I saw on one of the links at the home page, for a case pricing and dating guide..If I was reading it right this knife was manufactured between 1947 and 1964. I have not looked up anything on the Kabar knife yet.

I don't collect Case or Ka-Bar knives, but I have picked up and sold/traded a few like that Case 6265.
Some of the Case collectors may be able to give you a better idea of the value, but I think it may be worth the most of the three.
