Amen Dale. It just isn't the same around here without JR.

Re: johnnie rotten
Wow Fella's.....I really don't know what to say.
I was checking in on JoeDirts situation...when I stumbled across this thread.
I'm not Religious...so this is probably my third time ever reading anything on this forum "The Upper Room".
I want to thank each and every one of you for the kind words & prayers!!
After thinking it over with my Wife...I've decided not to pursue a transplant.
I know that might sound crazy..but I feel a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
I no longer think about dying...when before, that’s all my mind dwelled on.
I've been out of the Hospital now for 4 Months...that’s the longest I have been out in over 3 years.
I have a clinic appointment in 6 days on the 18th..more than likely I will be put in. I'm actually looking forward to it..I'm positive it will be a short visit and I will come out feeling even better. Maybe then I will stay out for 5 Months.
..wishful thinking.
One thing I am certain of...I'm not afraid of dying anymore.
Thanks again...you ALL are GREAT & WONDERFUL people!!

Johnnie, we all really care and that's why we do this. Here's to fewer stays in the hospital and 5 months out, you can do it!
