help identify these knives

I was told that they are Case in-house Christmas gifts, 1 of a 1000, hence the odd patt. #. Around 250 didn't sell in-house, and were made available to the public.
Got them around 1987, Pattern #'s are GR06200 with 2 dots and Y0200 with 3 dots.
They are a Copperhead Patt.#6249
Can anyone verify that story?

There is currently a thread on the Case Collector's Club Forum about this model. The Case Historian posted these comments:

"Here are some known facts:
Both the '49 and '00 are in the Tested XX era.
Both are 3 15/16" in length.
The '00 often had the Long Pull and Clip and Spey blades.
The '49 had the standard pull and Clip and Pen blades.

The '00s were offered up as several SFOs in the 1980s and 1990s.

Here are some of the ones that I found:
Little River Knife Company:
#03271 - 1988 - B0200 SS - Smooth Black Bone with raised letter shield
#02301 - 1989 - BK0200 SS - Smooth Black Bone
#02666 - 1990 - RO6200 SS/6200 SS - Red Moss Jigged Bone with unidentified oval shield

House SFO:
#01919 - 1987 - Y0200 SS - Smooth Yellow Bone with raised letter shield

Wallace Cutlery:
#00421 - 1986 - 05200 SS - Stag with oval shield

American Blade Knife Club:
#01038 - 1992 - 05200 SS - Stag with oval shield in centennial box

Blue Ridge Knives:
#02217 - 1997 - 6200 CV - Chestnut Jigged Bone with oval shield & clip and spey blades
#02112 - 1997 - 6200 CV - Smooth White Bone with no shield & clip and spey blades
#02120 - 1997 - 6200 CV - Amber Jigged Bone with Copperhead frame, oval shield & clip and spey blades
#02117 - 1997 - 6200 CV - Chestnut Jigged Bone with oval shield which is noted to be a circle

Normally the 00 number is for the Case Melon Tester which was introduced in 1958 and hasn't been produced since around 1974.

I first found the YO200 as one of the
yearly promo knives from Cofer Brothers in Tucker GA.
It is one of the 01919 on Ms. Shont's list.
Second one I found at flea mart in possession of a seller
I have gotten a few other knives from.
It is a stag with oval shield and with a G06200 blade installed.
So I knew there was probably a G06200 out there but
yours, Gary, is first greenbone I've seen. I likee!
Third one I found recently floating in the 'Bay, I had seen one
listed before in silverladder's auctions so knew they were around.
Just had to wait for another to show up, his went for a bit more
than I wanted to pay. (cough cough)
There is a BO6200 Blue bone 1989 Mark Martin Commem in the Bay
right now if anyone wants one of those.

These 00 pattern trapperheads do seem to be mostly if not all SFOs.
From Katie's list I'd be inclined to disregard the Case Christmas party
as the only source.
I like Copperheads and see no reason not to embrace these double
ott models as well as their 49er 'real Copperhead' cousins.

So SFO's are...well... Special then I guess, what would be the current value of a knife like this?

Well Wosey, what name would you stick on this pattern, Trapperheads or Coppertraps? Of coarse we could call it old #5. That's the 54 pattern minus the 49 pattern;

And I didn't even have to take my socks off and county toes to cypher that one out. I knew those 4 years I spent in 5th grade would pay off later on in life.

that copperhead is part of a set case offered green bone they made 500 in about mid 1980's

A couple of years ago, Aimus asked what these 9200 knives should be called. The AAPK Case pattern section calls them 'Copperhead Trappers'. I have a 1997 9200 CV with some kind of gray pearl acrylic handles that I'll get some pictures of later and post.

Can anyone tell me anything about this knife. I've had it around for years, and just discovered it could be as old as 60. Hope my pics can be seen ok.
It's about 4 inches.
