Re: BLADE 2012
I was there today. The ivory roughnecks were awesome.
And, this was my 1st time going to Blade.....I was amazed to say the least. I didn't know there were so many knife collectors. It was very encouraging to know that my hobby isn't as lonesome as I thought it was.

Re: BLADE 2012
Boggs, For real??? It sure is a beauty but anymore I have a hard time to shell out (1) C-Note for a knife today. At some point I ran out... That is the nicest ivory I've ever seen come through GEC. Maybe this week we might get a chance to see more of it.
BTW, I only live just over 2 hrs from the show, I've never been to it and once again I had to say no
I wouldn't have a home to come back too. BH

Re: BLADE 2012
They had one bark ivory that was very dark and full of color and no cracks at all. $500 is correct, nice but after hitting the custom side of the show I was $$ out.

this lumberjack is handled in primitive percheron; a draft horse breed. if i remember 3 of the old draft horses which pulled hay wagons & trees from the cutting sites were belgium, clydedales & percherons. these gentle giants were replaced by tractors. HiPower
