I bought these two fixed-blade prunning knives last week just because I like the stamps. The Marples looks quite old and never saw the Spider mark before

. Anyone have any information on this?

You sure do find some cool older knives...

I've been looking, but so far no joy. I shan't give up however...

Thanks El Lobo. I've seen similar knives called plantation knives (for harvesting tea etc.) but I am not sure if these are the same thing or merely just the garden variety.
