brown bros. pocket knife

Post by brownbrospocketknife »

I have a small two bladed pocket knife, with gold or brass handles, and green in the middle with brown brothers stamped on the blade. I just wanted to know if anyone had any information about this knife or what it may be valued at.

I posted one in another thread, but can't remember where. If memory serves me, the info I got was Brown Bros. became Union Razor, then Union Cutlery, then eventually what we know as Kabar today. The Brown Bros. stamp should date to somewhere between 1900-1920's. I believe most, if not all, were made in Tidioutte, PA or Germany.

Doing some research I came across this post... so don’t mind if I add one of my latest finds. This is a first Brown Bros knife for me.
