I had to get another Queen City canoe,this one has Green bone scales..

I'm really impressed by these Queens!!
The Bulldog is a 2000,I like the scrolling on the pile side.

Johnnie,

Man I love those Queen City's as well, especially the fact they are in 1095 steel. How many do you have now??

Is that one of the newer Bulldogs?? What is the handle made out of?? Very nice and impressive scrolling..

Sunburst,I have two...Ive only seen 5 different handles so I'm on the hunt for the other 3!!
The Bulldog was made in 2000 and the handles,I believe are imitation MOP or cracked ice,I think thats what they call it.

Bulldog calls it Oystershell, a celluloid. It is an imitation pearl that they started to use regularly in the third generation. There is also cracked ice in the third generation as well as imitation ivory.

Hey Johnnie, nice couple man, really like the Queen Canoe. I see the start of a collection there. Is that Bulldog one of the smaller lockblades?
I like the different jigs on the 2 Queens.

Those Queen City Canoes are a great useing knife. The thin 1095 blades are outstanding. I couldn't help myself when I saw these & the Medium Trappers, I had to get all 4 of each knife. The Antique Green that you picked up is my fav. of Canoe handles.
All these Queen City carbon steel knives are a SFO by Ken Daniels (formerly of Queen, now VP of GEC) with his tang stamp Cozy Glen Classic knives. I think Ron Ryder at http://www.cuttersandcollectors.com may still have a few to help you fill out the set. If you need to.
I think I mentioned it before but that Queen City tang stamp hasn't seen the light of day since 1945.

I was wondering if he was part of the Daniels clan of GEC!!! I didn't realize they made Cozy Glen medium trappers..I haven't seen any,do you have a web site for them also?

Those Queen Classic Trappers in 1095 have been calling my name for sometime Dave, now you have them calling even louder..

Very nice..Thanks for sharing them with us. I can't figure out which one I like best??? I do like the jigging on that Green bone though
