Primitive and Proper! post your PRIMITIVE BONE GEC's!
Did GEC make a #54 in primitive? Like a big moose or a big Jack?

Monk:
Do you recall how many Courthouse whittlers were made in pb?
Seems like I bought one a while back from somebody here.
I believe they are quite scarce.
Best,
Stephen

I have seen another post pretty much exactly the same as this one. I did not mean to step on toes or cause repetition in the thread. My apologies.
Is this kind of thing frowned upon? I mean, I obviously don't plan on letting it happen again

Well, Monk is in charge of sales.
He buys as many knives as he can and then offers them to us every once in a while.
He is a Guru when it comes to odd or hard to find.
Earl is the photographer and causes a lot of poor people to become poorer.
And Trevor is in charge of all things stag.
He is also our Alaskan knife tester, you know, grizzy, polar and brown bear kinda tests.
To answer your original question, no no one here really works for GEC, but they do sell a lot of them.

Re: Primitive and Proper! post your PRIMITIVE BONE GEC's!
Well, all of the above is great to know! I want to visit the factory so bad! It is hard being in Texas and all. So, do the members of the forum get first pick on new release knives...or is it more of a who you know basis? My real question is, if a new knife comes out and they only make 50, could it pay off to be a member? We can get back to Primitive talk..I am so worried about upsetting the apple cart with rambling. Thank you to everyone for being so patient with the new guy. And a huge thank you for all of the info!
