I can't compete with Trevor's two beauties but I'm thrilled with the Kershaw Silver Spur II Scott made available to me. I must admit, after I agreed to purchase it, I had some buyers remorse. I looked it up on the Internet, found it's only 3" closed and my heart sank. BUT when I opened it and started handling it, my buyers remorse flew right out the window. What a great little knife Scott and thanks for the fob thingy. I use the other fob you gave me on my WWII Camillus EZ-Open and love it.

The Imperial Easy-open Jack that I bought from Hank Hansen (HH Knives) here on AAPK came in today's mail. I took a couple of quick pictures to upload here - but want to compose some better ones later. I am thrilled, this one is exactly what I was hoping for in my first Easy-opener; bone handles, very nice condition, older, good steel, working class knife like my Granddad would have carried (the one who owned a local hardware store from the 1930's until his death in 1951) and that I can carry. This knife was made from the early to mid 1930's; I have a Winchester shotgun and some shells from the same era - trying to compose a picture in my mind of how to put them all together, but centering on the knife.

Second trip to the P.O. produced this old Hubertus 2577/4 model Red Stag Hunting Knife.
This knife is quite large, was surprised by it actually.

Side note: this knife made it from Germany to Alaska in 7 calendar days!! Gotta be a USPS Record of some kind!

Back on the work-a-day end of the scale; found myself (on e-Bay last weekend) a NOS Old Cutler, smooth yellow handled Delrin, 3-3/8" jack knife. Came in the mail today, took a poor quality picture; will do better one day next week but it won't be tomorrow, last day of turkey season and I have an unfilled tag.
