Something different for me. A PCC 30

Post by wazu013 »

Here's a Pacific Coast Cuttlery Bali-Song that I traded a Buck 110 conversion for. It's the only Balisong or Butterfly knife I own. It just felt like a nice knife when I handled it so I took a shot. I had to search around to find out what it was and who made it. I found out that it's a model 30 made by the predecessor to Benchmade, Pacific Coast Cutlery back in the 80's. Then I sent it to Matt Cook a.k.a. Pinoy Knife where he fixed the tang pin, added a set of original pivots and cleaned it up. He said it was a very early model because it's hollow ground which they did early on. I had no idea how pasionate the "Bali collectors" were. Tell me what you think. Excuse the pics they were hard to get (to bright)
