If I ever run across an actual sasquatch in the woods one day, first thing that will pop into my head is " I bet that squatch is packin' a canoe somewhere on his big furry self...."...That is a unique cool looking little stag number though!

Thanks Mike. ::super_happy:: The canoe pattern is just a bit large for the vest pocket, I usually carry something smaller. Most of my canoes are mint. However I have a yeller one that gets the call for Sunday duty if I'm not three piece suiting it. I'm planning to acquire either a bone or a yeller butterbean for EDC rotation as well. Since I got the Tidioute White Owl I've been giving old yeller some down time. I'm really taken with that Tidioute. I also recently purchased a Tidioute jumbo trapper that I have been carrying instead of my Parker IMAI lock back on my belt. I really like the 1095 tool steel blades too. If you ever do bump into a squach in the woods, tell him to PM me and I'll give him all the info on the family reunion! ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: Here's a pic of the yeller canoe in my EDC rotation

Thanks IM, Kaleb has done some great work for me over the years and I need to get this one to him. Really like the addition of the linerlock and thumb notches. ::nod:: The spring is not that great on this one I have but it won't matter once he does his magic.

When I loaded up this morning the Red Imperial went in left pocket like usual.

The SRM 763 went clipped as about 75% of the time usual.

And since the jeans had decently deep pockets this Remington found it's way into right front:

I often think I should try to get a different picture or two of it but not sure I could do MUCH better.....

My return to smaller pocket knives continues. The larger Opinel #9 has taken up permanent residence in my PDA/glasses case, which is almost always within reach of me. This is satisfying my need for a bigger knife near at hand. An even bigger #10 is sitting in the vice downstairs with the linseed oil settling into the (dyed ebony black) handle. It will still fit into the PDA/glasses case just fine and the poor #9 will need to find another use.

In any event, for the past few days, the Opinel #8 (in the center of the picture below) has been in my RFP. It's nice to have something a tick less intimidating in my pocket, especially since Little League has started up again and I'm prone to be sitting near the field whittling. Don't need a Kabar for that. Anyway, I'm thinking the Opinel #8 might be the most knife on a "per ounce" basis.

Perry, what does that CRKT look like opened up. I think my great uncle had some leg hold traps that... :D

Perry, no no. Working on an Opinel #10 currently. If it works out, I may need to thin the herd as I hate analysis paralysis in the morning. Still I dig cap lifters.

Stan, what is that knife? What's holding the blade in the second shot? Could take a picture of the other side?
