Whaler Screwdriver " Be Careful "

Post by bonehead »

Hey there all,

The Whaler is such a Huge knife I really love using it, around the house that is, I don't carry it. Today I was using some of that stick on under the cabinet Plastic Channel to hide electrical wire in. I thought I would try the saw, the fact is it cut OK, but the Teeth are so wide as well as deep and it just kept getting stuck. Then I placed the Spear blade on the top of the channel and slammed it with my Palm, ::woot:: Crazy I know but the spine is so wide it can be used like this. It worked quite well. Note: this is after It was sharpened. My next operation was using the screwdriver tip to pry open that channel so that I could slide the wires in, OUCH ::doh:: Slipped and the Saw blade worked really well, dog gone near cut the top of my finger off, No joking. I know many may use the tip of the screwdriver for other operations. Be Careful those saw teeth will tear you up.

screwdrivers & saws on pocketknives probably are best used in emergency situations since the handle & balance on most pocketknives are'nt designed to serve most utility pfojects as well as the original tools. the camillus tl29 may be an exception.--HiPower
