Trey, I sent my LBJ to Ash for testing and it didn't go as well as I hoped. I didn't have much green wood around me for a proper test but I did find that the saw worked better on a 2x4 I had in the basement. I only made a few notches though, I didn't want to cut all the way through. I bought it more because I thought it was cool rather than to carry it.

As for new knives, I picked up my own ebony #66 Teamsters Jack and 2 more #33 Conductors.

For some reason known only to him, Big Monk decided to let go of some of his Great Eastern's and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks Monk for this Ivory Acrylic #89 Executive Whittler. She's a beaut. Quick and painless transaction. What a great guy to deal with.
