Man, I wish I had some stuff. I need to go by the pawn and get some stuff but I would have to use them. When you are trying to learn restoration, every knife has a purpose and I find I am paying way to much for parts knives at the moment and you never know what you will need down the line. I guess I will eventually specialize and have some stuff I need to trade but not now. Darn! You guys have fun. I will be watching.

I still don't get it.
Swapping POS for different POS
doesn't get rid of any POS just
keeps it on the move and increases
the odds someone will develop PUS.
Must be an AAPK stimulus package
for the USPS, is that it? ::nod::

Well it is always exciting to receive a package with a knife and some will have more than one. Some people have a very different view of just what constitutes a POS knife. I have found lots of treasures someone else tossed as a POS.

It's fun. ::groove::

Precisely!
If you like fruitcake (I happen to like it) it is a great thing.
If you don't like fruitcake it is still fum making the trade and being creative when you do it.

It is a total hoot! ::woot:: ::woot::

Donald - I think the only rule is don't send a pile of parts. The knife can be worn out, it can be rusty (I don't think rusted shut qualifies. That's not a POS, that's just junk.), it can be a straight knife or a kitchen knife. Just as long as it's all in one piece and was originally sold to cut stuff. Let your conscience and good common sense be your guide.

Jammer - Did you mean to say Christmas for fruitcakes? :mrgreen:
