Lemon Yellow

Post by justold52 »

I received this from our AAPK store NORTH 40 CUTLERY our honest friend Jfarmer. ::ds::
All I know, she is a Fight'N Rooster short boy in near mint shape.
(when jfarmer says near mint believe it) ::nod::
She was made between 1977 & 1982 by Frank Bust Cutlery Co. in Germany.
She is only 3" long closed and has magnificent YELLOW color. ::drool:: ::drool::
If any one has more info on this lady please add it here.

Hi there Ken,

Great looking knife, that sure is one "purty" yellow blade you got there. I do believe I like that shade of yellow better than most. I'm a little rusty on my Rooster knowledge but I would bet money that is carbon steel and the Pre 82 Roosters are quite collectable when in mint shape.

Hey Ken, I'm glad you like it. All I know about it is that they made several colors in that pattern. I have a brown one ( Rooster calls it butterscotch) in my store right now. I had an imitation pearl one that was just as nice as yours but I sold it too. Those three are the only ones I have ever seen except for pictures in the book. I hope you enjoy yours Ken.

Yes sunburst is correct. it is carbon steel. Most of the older Roosters will have some peppers since they are carbon steel. I don't think yours has any peppers Ken.
