This one has been an EDC since the early '80s and has spent as much time hanging on my belt (or more) as any large folder I've ever owned. It's a Parker-IMAI. It's been a real workhorse. :)

Nice Schrade dog, I love em. I just ordered a new GEC that I hope to put into my EDC rotation. I will get some pics up when it gets here.

Johnny, I've missed the post regarding your grandmother but gather something is going on. Review/update so I can pray?

My Buck 112 and 500 continue to find their way into my right front pocket with regularity, but gosh-darn if the Opinel #9 isn't just most consistently the knife I like the best. Day in, day out, everything about this knife suits my hand. The weight, the size and shape of the blade, even the no fear and no pressure one hand open and close it provides.

I've also been converted to being a 2 knife person. I blame this forum. The Schrade 5OT rides in my PDA/glass case. Weighs little. Very small. Smaller blade come out when people might be put off by the bigger knives. That is useful. This 5OT is a new acquisition. The blade is complete, unlike my other one which was tipped and reprofiled.

Rareola and 'Squatch, those are nice looking knives. Whole fist full, I bet.

Garddog, I'm liking that LB7. I'm trying hard to stay away from the 6OT, 7OT and 51OT but I feel the gravitational pull. Nutty. I've got those sizes covered by my Bucks but still...

Nice, Charlie!

I was also doing yard work today, and for some strange reason stuck this big fellow in my pocket. Best part was sitting on the screened porch eating an apple while I cooled off. I'll follow your lead and add one of Bella -- she was ready to play after being chained to the stake while I mowed.

True, but don't come in uninvited!!!! That's when he goes to work! The big ol' dummy is a trip hazard most of the time but he's got the watchdog part down right. If you're an invited guest he figures he should try to climb in your lap to say hello. At 90 lbs........a foot in the wrong place........... that can be dangerous too! ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: He's my bud though. I like him way better than a lot of people I know. ::nod::

Worked out in the yard from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm today; mowing, weeding, trimming, using the gas blower on those 10 million pine pollen pods, put out Round-Up on all the plants growing in the cracks in the sidewalk, curb, and driveway, finally applied 20 lbs of Ortho-Max all season fire ant treatment to the lawn. Damn I'm tired, sitting here sipping a brewsky, waiting on supper which my wife is cooking and then off to the BINGO game tonight at the VFW (member of the post - I work the game, I don't play). I carried and used my Frontier - Imperial 4131 Stockman today; cut open the fire ant killer bags, that is about the only pocketknife cutting chore I can remember today - it will be back in my pocket tonight.

My first Leek was the stainless like you have DRS, fantastic knife! My son took a shining to it, asked if he could have it, so now it is away at college with him.

I'd love to see a face shot of the dog in your second picture. From that angle, the coat color, size, tail, and type of fur looks quite a bit like our girl.

As a follow-up to my post earlier today, I had decided to use my Ben Hogan primarily for food prep slicing tasks, since it is too large to comfortably pocket carry. The apple shown above was the first job for it. Later this afternoon I used it in dinner preparation: primarily slicing onions and checking the boiling potatoes for done. It is starting to develop a nice, natural patina.
