Remington scout knife

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Early-Remin ... dZViewItem Wrong can opener. wrong bail. Tang stamps on punch and opener look funny. Can't really get a clear look at them. Pull is on the back side on main blade. Should be on the front. Clip blade as the master blade. Should be a spear. Looks like Remington bone.

Frame, handles, shield and can opener are UTICA. Clip blade which is wrong for a Rem scout, probably taken from a Rem jack and stuck into a Utica scout frame.

And youre right the clip blade pull is on the back - so it likely came from a Rem 4 blade cattle pattern.

I could'nt quite identify the can opener. It does look like a old utica now that you mention it. I think it would have been worth more left alone as a old utica that whatever it is now.
