Hello All,
If this post is in the wrong forum, please let me know.
Anyone have or know someone that has a "CASE USA 61111-1/2 (extra 1 factory error) for sale?
Anyone know how many error knives were made? I have seen other factory errors that Case had released a statement on with quantities produced, like the 10 dot Buffalo article referenced in Steve's book for example.
Thanks, Jerry

That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who leaves the world better than he found it; who never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in other's and gave the best he had.

Don't have a clue on the number.....but they are rare. Almost bought one from Tony Foster 10 years ago, but he had a Tested green bone 6250 I liked better.

There is no documentation as to the quantity made. In those days an error was just an error whereas in later years starting in about 1980, Case knew that the "error" knives would become collectible so they would release info and quantities etc.
