I'm home this morning getting ready to change the oil/rotate tires on my wife's Honda before a weekend trip, so I've got some ratty old jeans and a long-ago oil stained t shirt on. Totin' the same old 8OT I had in my pocket while mowing yesterday.

I have too much stuff in the bottom of my pockets (lighters, cutters, SAK) to drop another knife down there just to carry it. I always have one clipped on my pocket, some sort of assisted open or one hand opening knife, but still want to carry other knives.

I devised a way to carry my re-handled Imperial Easy Open knife with a paracord/lanyard.

So this is what's in my belt sheath today!

That's a great re-handle job.
Any idea how the aged look was done on the bone (if it indeed is bone)?
Burnt like Stag maybe?
Kinda looks like GEC's Appaloosa bone.

I think I like that as much as allot of the Stag I've seen.
I have an old Schrade that needs tightening up and new handles, and would love to do something like that to the old girl.

Carryin this ole Remy right now. I take it out once in a while(like 100 time a day ) just to make sure it`s real and that I got lucky enough to get it, but can`t bring myself to use it for anything even though shes seen a lotta use over the years.......just gotta laugh at myself for this cool "disease" I have!

Nice ones Bob & Charlie! My weekend trip got postponed to Wednesday, so I am relaxing on the screened porch this afternoon enjoying the beauty of blooming trees and signing birds. I snapped this one in the morning when it was still sprinkling a bit. My peanut, like it is today, is often in my pocket.
