Nice one Charlie! ;)
I am gonna stick with this GEC 48 for a while, I have been eating a ton of fruit and this is the best size knife that I have found for cutting it all up, and for a 4" knife its really pocket friendly.

Well Jonnie, it's about the size of a Buck 112. In comparison the buck is a little heavier and thicker. As far as quality goes they are very close with the Buck being just slightly more well made. I've found the BEAR MGC and BEAR & SONS knives to be very good for the money. ::tu::

Johnnie, I wish I could find a bunch more, they are a ton of fun. Most fun I've had with a knife since the Ulster/Schrade Cut Co. that Dale sold me. ::ds:: I'm really enjoyin knives again.

No photos of the 120's Gino. One I gave to a friend with ironwood handles and the other in elk was jacked at work....sob....got my zippo back he stole from me from his bro a year later...anyway schrade's swinden is easy to work on imho...drill the center pin out and the whole knife comes apart. Have'nt done anything in awhile but have 3 120's nib that I found in a dusty hardware store that's waiting for my knife " shop " to open again....Heres one with elk from the same horn as the 120...decided to do one for myself that gets some belt time now and then. I guess this covers the whole weekend, since I had the Wadsworth last night when we went out to celebrate with friends.

Since I just picked him up yesterday I thought I would tote the Camillus 22 to church this morning.

Now back home relaxing on the screened porch I have them both in pockets. While doing some research (I am very new to the whole knife history thing) I discovered that these two are related, as the Kastor family owned both the Camillus plant in New York and the plant in Germany where the Wadsworth was made. Just guessing at dates, looks like the mid-'30s Wadsworth is about 30 years older than the mid-'60s Camillus.

I've got to add some yellow handled knives - they just look "right".
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

I think Old Hunter has a point Doug, yellow handled knives just look "right". Yours are a good looking pair of knives. ::tu:: I have a few yellow boys too. This is one of my favorites. ::nod::

Doug, I think that Ivoride Wadsworth would look good in my display. That is a beauty. I seldom admit ro knive envy, but you got me on that one. What is the age on that??

Thank you Dave. I have been told that it was made before 1936, which is when the Nazis shut down the Kastor family plant and began using it to make umbrella ribs.

Thanks for the kind words on the yellow knives OH and Charlie. Here are all three of mine together. The Schrade on top and the Camillus on bottom are both 1960s vintage. The A.W. Wadsworth & Son in the middle is most likely a 1930s vintage, and is technically not yellow as it is called french ivory, but it sure looks good with those other ones.

Edited to say, my son has the newest yellow knife in the family, a Case Peanut, but it is with him away at college.

I did snap a photo or two of my son's yellow delrin peanut before he went back from spring break, and since he probably has it in his pocket today, and I am carrying my chestnut bone peanut I guess it's not out of line to post in this thread.
