Camillus ?

Post by Grizlly Adams »

I was shocked, like most, by the closing of the Camillus plant.

I had just placed an order with them, received a confirmation, but never got the knife. I also note that their web site has been taken down.

My talent for bad timing is legendary! ::dang:: Anyone know if they have anyone still handling the wind up details? :?

I recently read elsewhere that another fellow found himself in the same situation. Apparently the employees themselves received only 2 days notice of the shutdown. He was told that there were no operations of any kind as far as sales went. Just a few folks probably closing things down. Your credit card was most likely not charged for the order, but I would check to be safe. It is certainly sad to see another American maker go.

Camillus- RIP

If it's a Heat or a Sizzle yer lookin fer, I can help. I stocked up. That goes for any of you other guys too. While I'm generally a shameless profiteer, I'll part with some of my stock at cost for you guys. Just send me a private message.
