Doug, The corned beef and cabbage was great. Mom is 83 but she can still cook! It's a shame you're not close enough to invite over for an evening meal. that would be a long drive just for dinner!

Yea it was all good till today

I started the day with some Irish coffee. I was a bit slow getting started but after about four cups (the first two were loaded) I was on a roll. Hair o' the dog that bit ya, laddie!

Unless I'm mistaken, Bear & Son (MGC) makes the modern Keen Kutter knives. They either own the trade mark or they're under contract from whoever does own it. So the red trapper I posted was made in the B & S factory. I have two Keen Kutter canoes that I'm pretty sure were made by B & S as well.

I know St. Patrick's Day was a couple days ago, but following an afternoon of mowing and yard work I am sitting on the porch this evening smoking my Peterson pipe and enjoying a glass of Bushmills.

Thanx,I know what ya mean Johnny,I use to keep her in the watch pocket till I discovered peanut and small barlow size knives but when I ride I like it right where it is because I always belt a larger knife like lockbacks,this is the first year with a trapper as I just happened apon that Schrade 96ot
