Here is a new arrival, 1974 Case 6220 Peanut. I've been looking for a Case peanut to put into the edc rotation, but didn't want to spend more than $30....held out and found this old diamond in the rough for $19...still solid as a rock and enough snap on both blades to chop off a finger! Cleaned up real nice and took an edge right away too, quite happy with this one.

Jerry, you are on a roll, love that "Mumbly Peg"!
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thanks Colonel. I'll be doing the pee-pee dance until they get here. I'd love it if that EZ-Open has a pattern number on the back of the main blade. The EZ-Open, teardrop/bullet end frame and spear blade make me think it's not a Mumbly Peg (it also has a 4-line Camillus tang stamp) but until I get more information, I'm in suspenders.

I really like that EO Jerry. ::tu:: ::tu:: Be interesting to see if it has a number on it. The 1946 Camillus catalog lists a knife very similiar called an "Army Post Exchange Resale" with that blade configuration but it has not easy open feature.

Thanks T.J. You too can have one but it comes under the brand 'Syracuse'. As I posted in another thread, after reading a post from Chet, I did some eBay research and lo and behold, Syracuse made one exactly like it. Now I'm back to my original post, wondering if this is a Syracuse with a WWII Camillus blade stuck in it. I should get the knife tomorrow or the next day. I'm on pins and noodles.

Snowed all morning and rained all afternoon so these were the best pix I could muster, but I hope you get the idea.

Yea,,,, suprisingly light weight for its size.
It does however have a little up and down play (not side play) when locked open that bothers me a bit, but other than that, I'm happy.

Here's a new to me, solid celluloid handled Imperial Providence R.I. stamp. Pretty sure someone cleaned this but I don't care, it saved me trouble. Handles are in great shape and very solid with good snap on all blades, I like the Cattleman patterns in these. ::groove::
