Model Number of Electric Cut Co. Knife. Walden N.Y.

This knife is stamped Electric Cut Co. Walden N.Y.It is 4 inches in length. The master blade measures 3 1/8" The blade on the same side as the master blade measures 2 1/8". There is a small 2 in blade on the other side. The handle doesnt have a shine on one side and looks like it may be wood? The handle on the opposite side is better polished so I dont know if maybe it came polished as new. maybe you can notice it in the pictures. I would appreciate any info on what model number this knife is.

I can't help with the pattern No. but I seriously doubt the pile side scale (back side) is wood.
Bone can and WILL dry out over time and begin to decompose. The knife likely laid with the
"dry" side facing down for some length of time.

Mineral oil works well on bone to keep it from "rotting."
You might even be able to get a shine back.

Try soaking it over night in a medicine bottle filled with the mineral oil.

(PS - mineral oil isn't where you would normally expect to find it at a store - look in the isles in a pharmacy)
