Doug Add wrote:Stole the guitar idea from a couple pages back. I tried to get a shot comparing the darker ebony of the fingerboard of my Larrivée guitar and the color variation of the ebony on my Tidioute White Owl. This is about as good as I can do with what I've got (equipment and skills).

Looks great to me! Good lookin' guitar and a good lookin' knife, doesn't get much better than that ::woot:: ::tu::

Here's one that finds it's way into my RRP next to my bandana on a pretty regular basis. The toothpick pattern is a classic and the green bone handles on this one really caught my eye. I tried to keep it in mint condition (really! I did! I tried real hard! for about three days ::dang:: ) but it just begged to be carried. ::nod::

Just got this delivered via FedEx this morning. 1970 Dk Redbone Case Toothpick, Ebay auction for less than ninety bucks. Happy for this win, because I lost the 1920's Queen Toothpick auction.
I've been buying a lot off ebay recently. Haven't been disappointed yet, unless I lost an auction.Image

Being of predominently Irish descent, I can honestly say I've never met a potato that I didn't like! ::rotflol:: It's that time of year again! Time for the wearin' of the green laddies! Here's what I'll be packin' in my pockets on the 17th. ::nod:: I only carry these once a year.....on one of my favorite holidays. ::ds::

A friend of mine who is Scottish went home to visit family and brought me back a gift. I won't be carrying this one unless I'm wearing a kilt. Nice gift from a scottsman to an irishman, eh? The Highlander's last resort.......the Sgian Dubh

Thank you Charlie. When I first saw those rosewood scales I knew I had to have it. This is the knife that got me back into loving traditional pocket knives.

I love those Irish themed knives. The one on the left is gorgeous!

These three have become my regular EDC rotation (the 108OT just re-joined yesterday after a six year absence - I had carried one for over 20 years until I lost it). The Case is my favorite though; a medium "working" jack, black synthetic handles, rounded bolsters for pocket comfort, flat finished stainless blades, longer pen blade and heavy clip blade for the size of the knife - just about perfect for my uses.
