Grand Dad's Razor
A Shumate Tungsteel given to my Grand Dad in 1928 by his father in law. Pretty cool. i will clean it up and post a pic when I can. The razor part is 3" and it is 6 1/8" closed. This company is in St Louis.

Re: Grand Dad's Razor
Thanks for reminding me, MB. I had put it in a drawer and would have been out of mind for a while. This knife thing has consumed me for now and I am learning so much, I am scattered. I post the pics small because I can't get big pics myself because of speed issues with my connection, but I hope one of these allows you to get some detail. I am sure my grand Dad used this razor for a long time. He was a mountain man that had to come to town to live and work. He never lost the desire for the old ways.

Nice old razor.
It's been used, no doubt about that. Still got a lot of life left in it though.
Hone it up or get it honed up and whack some whiskers with it.
