OK, now I try to be understanding with Ebay sellers. I make plenty of mistakes myself But come on, at least spell the darn name right. Look at this auction.

For Gawd sakes, its TIDIOUTE not Tideout.

I'm not going to even ask for comments as I can't stand to leave this one alone.
First, the spelling is a dead give away that either the seller doesn't care or they want you think they don't know and that it is a buy. Either way, I hate it.

Second of all, GET YOUR NOTE PADS OUT. The secondary blade is ALWAYS Stamped with Tidioute on a real knife from there.

Second, this stamping on the main blade is what should appear on the secondary. So this is WRONG

so the next time I am at a show and this guy comes up with this super rare Tideout knife for me to look at I get to say, "hey you should write a book on that company" where are they from????? Hummm, I have a rare tang stamp collection I will sell you for big $$$$ here is a photo of it

Having lived on the Oregon Coast, "tide out" is when you go look for things washed up on the beach from the last high tide.

Maybe his knife is "washed up" too.
