I like the two Camillus knives I have purchased so far.
Am interested in trying out some of the other American brands.
Also have been happy with the Kershaw as well + Buck + Ka Bar. I don't have a Queen or a Marbles yet. Do these two have a model with a single blade about 3-4" long?
What about the other GREAT American Knives?

Nice looking blade you got there. I was in Gander mountain this weekend and had a Camillus heat in my hand, well blister pack, and was contemplating buying it. I thought and thought and finally put it back on the shelf. I have plenty of single blade "pocket clip" knives but all are autos. Would like to have a "leagal" knife as well.
Here is one of my favorites. It is a Frank Beltrame fom Italy. So, So Smooth.

As far as I know it is just referred as the B- Stealth by Frank Beltrame. I'm not sure if it has a model #. I didn't get this knife off of the internet, but I know they are on the internet. I don't use it for cutting, just for sittin and flickin. As far as I know they are auto only.
Here is a picture of one i do use. It is a full size Magnum, a division of Boker, made in Tawain. Still a good quality knife.

And my comment at my Rough Black collection page at my site...Lowe's isn't into collecting, they are into cash flow.
Some real pride was put into the making of these knives. The era of craftmanship that these knives display has often given way to the greed of the rich to make even more profit cutting labor costs using less skilled/pride-filled craftsman. Why do some try to store up more grain that they can eat before it spoils? The "Quality" stands much longer than fleeting money spent trying to make even more money. Ok ok I'll get off that subject, and just admire the knives of our forefathers.
And so it goes...
I wont be buying any knives at Lowes, so they have "lost" some cash flow from collectors.
You get what you pay for, there is no real advantage to using the "lower bidder" You'll have to spend more anyway to fix it, or re-do it cause it wears out sooner.
