howdy, just curious if someone would give me an approximate date on this old knife. it has 12 spacers on each end and a 3 line stamp. thanks. tex

tex, welcome to aapk ! ! ! And that is a sweet looking leather w/ stag butt fixed blade you have there.
Dating is more based on the "A" in "MARBLES" than the spacers on the handle. The cross part of the "A" hooks to the left and that is a tell-tale way to date your knife. Unfortunately I don't have my Marbles book with me right now. But someone else might be along shortly, if not I'll get back to you.

looks like the 1911-1930 mark to me, used alot on their longer blade knives of that peroid
