Need neck knife

Post by caboose23 »

I was looking for a neck knife for snowboarding, in the Rockies. It needs to be not too big, as in under 3.5", and needs to hang something like this.

I was looking at that or even one of these.

If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Check out Sog.com and drool.

Check out here too. AbsoluteKnives.com

I hope this helps you. I fell you can NOT go wrong with SOG to help you when you need it the most. Like when your life depends on a knife.

I want something more like a fixed blade that hangs around your neck.

For right now I think I am going to go with a Black Cara Cara for the fact that is all black and relatively inexpensive.

Just need to find a way to clip it onto my jacket or something.

Welcome to the AAPK caboose ::welcome::

This is the best site for knife collectors & I belong to several.

If you just want an opinion on a neck knife, I would suggest you check out the Becker Necker. They will soon be scarce as they were made by Camillus, who went out of business last week. The quality of the Camillus Beckers is excellent. You can spend more, but I think you would have to spend a lot more to get more knife than the Becker.

Just my $.02,

caboose23 Hello agin;
I just showed you my every day user. If you go to the SOG site they have many fixed blades. Check the fixed blades out at SOG, but they are not relatively inexpensive.

Dale; "spend a lot more to get more knife than the Becker" you said a mouth full thier I agree with you Dale

The reason this got put in WANT ADDS is cuz that is where you were when you posted this post. Go to the form Index you want to post in, then post. You will under stand I am sure.

8) Caboose Welcome to the forum. To answer your question, I wear the

Emerson La Griffe under my shirt around my neck, everyday at work. It

is so light I never notice I am carrying it. It is also razor sharp and a

very handy shape.
