Close Match to Case XX Redbone?

Post by whitebuffalo58 »

I've got a few knives I want to customize and would love to use that style and color of material. What would be the best modern version of Case's (XX era) redbone and where can it be bought? Not looking for exact, just something that gets close to the aged color. (jigging pattern doesn't really matter) Over the years it's become my favorite of all jigged bone handles.

Thanks, WB

culpepper's ruby red is close, a bit more bright but i've gotten some of it that turned out darker and looked just like the old case stuff. jig pattern has a lot to do with it too, culpepper offers several

Checked out Culpepper's for the first time, nice selection, fair prices. I'll include the ruby red in my order. Kinda liked the looks of the mahogany, rootbeer and amber colors too.
Thanks for the lead, MM! ::handshake::
