Those are some great looking Bulls, Johnny. Phil, you've really got a nice pack of dogs. I wish our household could stand another dog, but one lazy, begging, 104 pound lap dog is enough.

Phil, thats a good lookin' bunch for sure.
Willow is obsessive with my mom and brother, if they're in the same room she has to be touching one of them, if any of the other dogs think about sharing affection she barks her guts out, we are her people and her people only.
We have to sneak affection to the other dogs when she's sleeping.
Once again Phil, nice herd you got there.

Here's a pic of the faithful flock.
I'm not going to say which is which, but the big rooster's name is Splice.
The rest have names. but that could be a pain in the butt.

That rooster certainly stands proud, the "Cock of the Walk" and great spurs too.

Gringo, they're called silky bantam chickens, they are great little animals to have around the house.
Johnnie, anytime, I'll try to get some pics of the potbelly pigs.
TJ, he's very good about not attacking anyone, we had a barred rock rooster that was a real pain in the butt. He would chase my aunt around so we had to get rid of him.

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
i was thinking the other day if we should start a pet topic, well lo n behold, it was here the whole time. it needs to be ressurected from time to time.
i just love all the pictures and stories from everyone. what a great companion to have in our pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or fish, or even snakes. horses, roosters and every other well taken care of two and four and no legged friend here. they all bring us such joy and serenity. even when they are being a little mischievious. sometimes i wonder though, who is the real boss???
we alway had 4 or five dogs. lost 2 lab brothers within a 4 month span this past year, they were just about eight yrs old. i think the second went from a broken heart, but really it was cancer for them both. last cat is gone now 4 yrs.
we used to raise chows, now with the grandkids, chows are just too possessive, the last chow was 17 when she passed away.
we now have a dropped off field spaniel,( thats the closest i can come to her breed). had her for 7 years now, i don't know how old she really is. and we also have our first australian sheppard. i was wondering how don keeps up with three of them. and how did you ever get them all to sit still for one second together?
great saddness when they leave us much too soon. cherish every moment together....love em all.

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
Wish I had pictures of all the pets I've had over the years. My first dog was a standard beagle that was about a year old(I was six) when she wandered into our lives. She had no collar and no one claimed her so she claimed us. We had two cats at the time and she got along with them just fine.
One cat was killed by someone apparently trying out their new .22 and the other got run over by a car and was injured. Apparently the dog saw this happen and stood over the cat in the road until a neighbor informed us and we went to pick him up.Only then would she move out of the street.
She lived with us for 17 years and one day she disappeared. Shortly before that the local fire department had to rescue her from drowning when she fell through the ice on a nearby pond. The only thing we could figure was she guessed it was her time and went off to die.
My next dog was a German Shepherd that we got at six weeks of age. He was the runt of the litter and nobody wanted him. He was fiercely protective of my son from the day he was born.He was probably the smartest dog I ever owned;sometimes it was almost as if he knew what you were thinking. We had to put him down at 13 because of cancer.
Our next dog was a 3 year old Doberman that a friend of ours had to get rid of because of moving to a place that didn't allow dogs. She was a great dog but hated cats(we had two when she arrived). She wouldn't touch them inside but knew that outside ALL cats were fair game.We lost her to cancer at the age of 11.
Our last dog was Muttley. As the name implies, she was a mutt and would fit in the palm of your hand when we got her at 6 weeks. She was absolutely ferocious for her size and rode herd over two of our other inherited dogs: Brutus; a 125+ lb Newfoundland/Black Lab mix and Duke von Slayer;our 155 lb. Rottweiler. She outlasted them both. We had to put her down last year at nearly 18 years old.
Although we don't technically have another dog, our son's Jack Russell Terrier spends most of his time with us while he's on the road driving. Here's a pic of Muttley.

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
Here are our Lhasa Apsos as puppies.
This is Gus, he is the father of the other dogs we have. This is Gus today- He is 7 years old and a bit sleepy in this pic.
Here is Maggie, she now lives with my friend Dave after the puppies, (because Dave needed a dog and we didn't need more puppies).
These are Gus and Maggie's kids-
The second from the left is Josi, the second from the right is Sami & the far right is Jake.
These are the three pups from that litter that we have today.
This is Josi, she is my girl. She goes with me pretty much everywhere, in the shop, in the car and from room to room. She is a sweetheart! This is Sami the "Princess" (in her mind) and my wife's dog. This is Jake. We got him back from the lady who bought him from us. She had to move and couldn't keep him. They keep me company when my wife is at work, whether I am watching TV or working in the shop. They add a great deal of love, richness and humor to our lives!

Dale ,
Nice "Pack". You are so right on with this statement..."They add a great deal of love, richness and humor to our lives!"
Here is Daisy, My 7 year old son Ethans recent Christmas present.
SHe is a wire hair Jack Russell, about 4 mo old, and we ALL instantly LOVED her!!! She will not let me out of her sight, if I am home.
Somehow she got the nickname "Baby"

Another picture of Jessie my Norwegian Elkhound who has been with us just over a year now. She is my second Elkhound, more properly translated to "moose dog". These dogs were supposedly the dogs the Vikings kept and that's where my AAPK name comes from. I would not be without one.

Re: SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!
mike nice elkhound. my brother had a keeshound.. 25 yrs now he is gone what a great dog he was. very similar to the elkhound. they are almost identical. keeshounds were bred in the nieghboring country of holland. similar lineage i guess.
mark i fully know the breed of jack russells, my son has two of them, 8 and 7 yrs old. one came from a jack russell rescue. they can be very high strung but also playful as heck and loyal to their owner. you will have many enjoyable yrs with her..
dale, glad to see that you aren't attached to one breed
