Case Knife in a Truck

Post by justold52 »

I have seen many of these Truck & knife combo's.

Are they a good collectable thing or just a gimmic thingy???

The knives are nice, and fit in the pocket well. I have a hard time getting the truck in my pocket, and when I do my wife gets a headache. What's up with that! :P :P

Just a gimmick thing y is my call.

I don't have any of those truck-knife sets but I do think they are pretty neat and would fit in nicely with my toy tractor collection.

Ken, you should have been rewarded for your creativity.

If there are any ladies on the forum, here's a new expression for you:

Is that a Case Limited Edition C. Platts' Sons Ertl Truck Set in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?

i have two of the ertl/case sets. they look pretty nice in my display. if you get them for the price of a knife, great! i have the 40 ford pickup and cattaraugus pocket hunter and the 47 studebaker and case tiny toothpick. they are 1:25 scale so they defer from most other 1:24 scale ertl trucks.

hey ken, i play with em, vrrooooom. ::paranoid:: but when i'm not, they are out of any lil' ones reach. i think as a collectible, they are no different than any commemorative. they are limited to 2500 which i think is a low run for case. and i like em, gimmicky or not. :D
