Boggs, truer words have never been spoken.
I love the SodBuster, I used one for work and I love the knife, style, and blade. It's seemed like a long time coming, but I'm so glad to see it.

Re: YEAH BUDDY!!!
I have been working with Bill a long time on this knife. The customers wanted an economy knife, but the factory didn't want to make a "cheap" knife (build not cost). I don't have these in hand yet, but Bill is happy with them - which tells me all I need to know.
We are gauging this Factory Test Run to see if there is enough demand to produce them in large enough numbers to lower the cost to a point where the factory can be happy with the product and the consumers can have a value work knife.
Please report back when you get them in-hand...

These ones are quite a bit more than any you have seen before. ::bummed:: At least the ones I have seen so far.

Re: YEAH BUDDY!!!
Today I received a 61 half congress in Ivory and the 71 bullnose in Redneck orange.
The 71 is the one I cant put down. VERY strong snap, super sexy, I even love the orange. The length and proportions are near perfect. Its not as sharp as my other GEC's have been lately, but I cant wait to sharpen and test the O1.
I wish I would have ordered a couple more....ANd I'll take one in every handle they offer if you all can hit the price you talked about.
Straight to the pocket for this one, I'm excited to test it out.
AWESOME!!THANKS!!

Yeah, I missed out on them guys.
I'll wait till we get a few new ones in and it's a regular product, but it's gonna be flying of the shelves.

Re: YEAH BUDDY!!!
Mike had me covered guys, so I have one on the way.
I can't wait to get pics up and share an educated opinion.
The soddy is a favorite of mine so I hope to see this pattern succeed, I think offering it at a more affordable price would be cool, but I am willing to pay the price for quality. I'm getting a quality knife every time, so I don't worry about cost.

Re: YEAH BUDDY!!!
Mark, can I beg for a pic?
I understand if you can't, but I'd love to see it.
I have been waiting for this very model, this exact knife and I'm so glad it's here. I look forward to getting my hands on it, then getting it into my pocket.
The O-1 tool steel is also very interesting, I can't wait to try and compare it to the previous steels. I think the size is perfect so I think this could be a great knife for me.
So glad to hear that you love it.

Awesome Mark, thank you so much, I know pics can be time consuming.

I can't wait for mine, all of these knives looks so good. I know they are just work knives, but they are beautiful in just about every way.
