My Camillus Collection

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

My Camillus Collection

Post by carrmillus »

Here is my Camillus Collection:

Photo #1 is all patterns. Top row which is cut off, is military, camp knife, 2 blade jack, Boy Scout and Cub Scout. This was my first Camillus. I've had it since 1945.

Photo #2 Whittlers, 72, 5 and SL6 patterns. 36 in all.

Photo #3 is real old Camillus. First 3 are not Camillus. Great Grand Dad's straight razor (Monarch 1888 - 1892) Colonial pen knife (Grand Dad's) #6333 Case (Dad's)
The rest are all 4 line or eariler Camillus. #8 is arched 3 line stamp 1902 -1915.

Photo #4 The two boxed knives are 100th anniversary Camillus whittler and stockman #47 lockback is at center top. The 18 1/2 " butcher knife was my Dad's. It's a "Village Blacksmith" 1898 - 1902. I re-handled this one.

it's in the 3rd picture-whew!!,you scared me, i thought i had lost a whittler, the empty space in the 3rd picture is now filled with a 4 line, brown bone electricians knife, no pattern no., but it's identical to the TL-29, except for the bone handles. i also now have 5 of the 4 line whittlers(with the wedge)-these are among my favorites!!!
