Buck 1095?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

So, it would appear that Hoyt Buck understood tool steels, working on heat tempering hoes and making his first knives by hand out of worn out files.

It would also appear that Buck moved into making production knives in the 50s and iconic Buck 110 came out in the early 60s, made out of stainless.

So, the question is, did Buck ever produce or sell (made by others, like Camillus) knives made out of 1095 or tool steels like D2 and if so, what models?
