Help Identifying Old Bone Scout knife

Hello again. Picked up an old scout knife that just has "Made in U.S.A." on the master blade tang and ""Can Opener" on the Can Opener blade. Cant find any other Identification. I`m just guessing it`s and old Imperial knife but if so wonder why it wouldnt be marked as such. Any help identification is much appreciated. Thanks again! The knife is 3 and 5/8ths inched long (minus the loop) with blades closed.

You might be right about Imperial, but whatever it is, it wouldn't matter a bit, I LOVE THAT KNIFE

i would guess imperial also.. nice knife. phil would know,, he's the scout master..

It is a late war Engineer`s pocket knife. In 1944 the safety can opener was used from then on on these type utility knives. Note the large head on the handle pins. You will see this quite often on these knives that were made during the end of WWII.

These were also sold after the war ended to the general public by Sears.

I think if you examine the master blade closely you might still see images of the etch," STA-SHARP". Sometimes they were stamped,"High Carbon Steel USA" on the tang. I believe these were made by Camillus for Sears. I have a couple 5 blade ones as well as a 4 blade or two.
