Utica - POS roundtable rebuild

Post by Toejammer »

Got this 2 blade Utica in last years POS roundtable. I knew it was cell handled, but didn't give it much thought. Last month while digging through my vault, I started to notice the telltale signs of gassing. Knife had good blades, and great snap, so I figured I'd try to save it. And I figured it was about time I manned up and did something with more than one blade.

This was the NASTIEST knife I've ever opened up !! Once I got it apart, it was obvious by all the green oxidation and rust, that I was lucky to have done this when I did. I spent more time cleaning the gunk out of this thing than I did re-handling it !! ::facepalm::

Scott, do they enlarge for you if you go to jammers album and click on them?
