Just me back with another odd knife....:+)

Seller's Description:WALNUT HANDLED KNIFE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN- CONCAVE FLUTED WALNUT HANDLE - FINE LINE DETAIL ACCOMPANIES THE FLUTING- SHOWS GREAT AGE, 18TH CENTURY WROUGHT BLADE 3 "- AND A PICK BLADE ALSO 3 1/4" LONG 1/32ND POINT DIA-TOUCHMARKS ON THE BALDE RIVETED PIN HOLDS BLADES IN PLACE HAS BRASS SKULL CRACKER FINIAL AT BOTTOM END NICE REAL AGE 18TH CENTURY ??????? (Not Sure About that date).

I don't have the knife yet so I can't really get into studying the blade markings.

that is a very formidable looking folding knife. but i believe that pointed bolster is for breaking car glass

I believe it is what as known as a coir knife and is used for weaving fabrics.Most of them come from the Middle East.Bernard Levine had a pretty good description of them in one of his knife guides.
Don't think it's that old but I could be wrong.
