Yes Gino, definitely one of my favs(of course all that Dad gave me are favs ). Also I just have a real thing for appaloosa bone. I think the appaloosa bone handles are some of the prettiest. I cant decide whether I like the smooth or jigged best .

I changed my CR knock off SRM 710 to tip up.

It's very hard to choose between it and my 763 for clipped carry!

Have traditionals down in the pockets.

This is in my pocket right now.


The knife in foreground is the cheapened version of the Bucklite Max Medium 486 that Buck is selling through Walmart in their holiday tin series. Note that it lacks the thumbstud and the pocket clip - both wins in my book. Not a pretty knife by any stretch of the imagination (to my eyes) but really easy to carry and just right (for me) in terms of size. Sort of like a light, ugly Buck 500.

For me, this is a good weekend chores or backpacking knife. Won't get much pocket time while at work. Just not nice enough looking and honestly, just a bit too tactical looking for my tastes (and the tastes of squeamish office mates). In any event, this is what $20 will get you, which doesn't stink.

As I theorized I have the Extrema Ratio Knockoff in my Right front pocket.

Darn thing doesn't have a place for a lanyard..... and I have become a Lanyard guy for my clipped knives.

I've been working on the MF3. The clip wiggled. And I couldn't lanyard it like I wanted.

Both problems pretty much fixed.

Not too good Dog, Saturday was the end of the season (kinda) and I didn't get out. Doe comes back in in a couple weeks so we will have a chance in the snow.
