You picked a winner, John! I love the 73 pattern, especially the single blade liner lock. ::handshake::

The 73 is a great pattern and with the Walnut Jig Bone.....which I think is some of the prettiest handle material...you've got a winner

You have good taste JohnJ, the 73 single blade is a great configuration … nice and thin but packs a hefty blade … I think they make excellent back pocket knives …

Enjoy!

Earl, that is a beautiful set and a beautiful picture … really like that BF Easy Open … and the Stag and PB are both primo … top shelf stuff right there. ::tu:: ::tu::

I picked up this little number in a quant shop off the beaten path.

A bit of a gem to find these days, and since she reminded me of a piece from days gone by, I thought I'd present her as such …

Very nice! ::tu::
I'm really liking the Elk handled GEC knives more and more lately. I picked up a great looking unserialized #33 in Elk from Doc's Knife Works a week ago. That makes three Elk knives for me so far. I'll have to post a picture when I get a chance.

I am aware of most of the Elks that are still available - tried to get pile side pics of the #23's when there
were 3 available from that seller, no dice. The #61's are nice and I probably would have grabbed one, but GEC
was killing it with new patterns and the latest runs have had nicer Elk imo. GEC makes it fun anyway....... ::nod::
