Can anyone provide any information on Bear MGC numbering system?

I have a Peanut Pattern with pearl handles and 6 dots.

That is either a 1994, or a 2004. The system was similar to Case's...start with 10 dots and take one away for each new year of the decade. The typeface is what tells the decade. It was larger for the newer knives.
I'm sorry, but I can't really tell on your knife by those pictures.
MAYBE if you can get a clearer shot of the stamp.

Thanks for the information on Bear dating system. I aquired the knife in 1999, so I guess that would probably make it a 1994.
