Muskrat Love
Hi guys this is my first post, but I've been reading for a while. I thought I'd show off some of my muskrats. The first one is a 2005 Schatt & Morgan 1 of 100 with gorgeous stag handles. The second is a 10 dot (1970) Case. The Third is a 2006 Case stag. The last one is a Case SFO from http://www.caseknifeoutlet.com with one carbon steel blade and one stainless steel blade

jholcomb Welcome to a super site.
I can tell you know some thing about collecting if you can get Sunburst to want one of yours. But many here love STAG and S&M's. So you will fit right in here.
Nice YELLOW one too.
MM and El Lobo Fabulous "RATS" Thanks for taken the time to show them.

Hey Johnnie I am having trouble believing that your Muskrats are that beautiful and the only way to convince me that they are is for you to mail them to my house in Florida.
Very nice knives Johnnie, Bill & Upnorth...

Here is a Primble Hawbaker Rat.
I bought it to EDC, but was a bit disappointed when the Wharncliffe blade started to wobble & I had to tighten it. I wish it was carbon steel, maybe it would hold an edge better. Other than that I really like it.

Charlie,
This is one of the ones from Blue Grass Cutlery.
I know almost nothing about them, just what I have seen here at AAPK. Here is a close up of the tang.
I don't know when it was made. Obviously it isn't an old one. Maybe someone here can tell us more about the Blue Grass made Primbles.

I think I remember knifeaholic saying he had done some research on these Primbles and they were made for Blue Grass by Utica (now going by KutMaster). Maybe he will see this and have a bit more to add.

I didn't know that Utica made them for Blue Grass. Cool, I have some nice old Uticas.
Here is a quick scan of a Frontier Muskrat. According to the info I have there were only 2 Muskrat patterns made by/for Frontier. I haven't cleaned this one up yet. I need to do that soon.

Here is an old Schrade Open Stock 787 Muskrat.
Unfortunately, someone broke one blade. But the re-profiled blade is still a nice shape and the steel in this knife is unlike any I have found in new knives.
This old Rat still gets some pocket time!
