All great knives! I really like that Chestnut Scott. I have a stack of Chestnut boards out in the shop. They came off of a 120 year old barn. I've used it to make a few display cases for people, but hadn't thought about using it for knife handles.
I reckon if they held up to more then a century of Ozarks weather, they should do alright on a knife, huh? WB

Thanks Gino & Whitebuffalo. I have it in the batcave for testing and reviewing purposes.
Whitebuffalo, that wood sounds epic. I bet it'd do just fine on a knife......
Would love to see what you produce.

those Boker barlows with the tortoise scales are hard to come by. I saw one on eBay a year or so ago and missed it. How is the fit and finish on it?

I can't find any falts with it. Blades have good snap x2 half stops good. scales color and fit very good both sides.
The congress has a spear point as one of the large blades. Is that correct?

Got my Sanrenmu 710. Unfortunately it is a black 710.
I'll TRY to get a pic, but it is still rather ugly outside.
OK. It is not the best picture:
