Yeah we have a pretty good watch tower, two of them actually.
Here is the one my Bro will be in.

Fitted with chairs and propane, full carpet covered floors to keep the noise to a limit.

I usually carry a large Stockman but about a month ago I broke the tip off the clip blade of my little 33OldTimer. I reshaped it and ended up with a wharncliffe/lambs foot shape. I've never had a knife with that blade so I've been trying it out the last few weeks - and I like it. Might put a Christmas wish list in for a larger Wharncliffe knife.
Knives were invented 'cos blunt sticks just don't cut it.

Hunting? That don't even look like "camping". That there is lux life! You guys sit in an easy chair while "hunting" too? Dang, we got it altogether wrong were we hunt. Hunting is what we do up in the hills behind the (sleepy) boy.
Today, it the Schrade 5OT.

We have 53 acres, most of it is field, so we have an easy watch.
If your gonna hunt, why not do it in luxury.
My uncle has a farm and almost no fields, we hunt his property every year and it's a whole different ball game. We have to drive to get the deer into the "open" areas. It's good fun anywhere we hunt.
This one today, a little different than the usual, good to have an old friend back though.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nothing has changed since last post as far as carry.
I picked up at the Post Office two "Spyderco C109" Axis Lock little knives. (ordered two by mistake, one would be plenty).
They came from China. They are even stamped "Spyderco" on one side. And YG-10 (not VG-10) over Seki Japan on the other side.
They are kinda cute. But so small that my big hands have issues.
I'll get pics up tomorrow I guess. Well, maybe Friday or even Saturday.
BTW. They are both very sharp.
Okay. These will NEVER be faves. They do not get as sharp as many other knives. They have some roughness in opening that some polishing may help.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I have traditionally carried one pocket knife continuously until either I lost it or retired it, been carrying a Case swell center jack for 5 or 6 years, BUT this website is having an effect on my thinking. Before I left for today's early morning deer hunt I grabbed this one, a Remington Whittler that I have owned maybe 6 or 7 years, that normally sits on the workbench in my shed - decided to begin an "EDC Rotation" (an acronym and concept I have learned here at AAPK). Going to look over my collection and chose several knives to have in my rotation. Thanks!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I found that yellow knife the other day going through some of my dads stuff. He passed a few months ago and I have bee trying to get everything organized. It says Titusville on the tang but that's all I know about it. It's an oldie though.
I do like the Case jack. Not a big fan of the stainless they are using these days. Love that carbon. I got it out of the box, soaked the blade in vinegar and have been cutting with it ever since. Good solid little knife!

Quit teasing us liveitloud. Let's see some more of that little yellow handled knife. Cell handles? Kinda looks like it from this end of the stick. Old Queen maybe?

Haha, no teasing I really don't know what it is. It does look to be celluloid handles though. Took a few more shots. Also just now put some flits in the tang to try to see better.
It has a shape on the blade with looks like 2 letters in each side of the shape. Looks like an old Schatt and Morgan logo to me but I just can't tell. Under that symbol it says Titusville and under that PA.
