Did you trade your car for it? Those blades are full and that bone is beautiful.

Beautiful knife! Congrats.
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Mr. gulo, that "dog knife" that you showed as a close up of your avatar is one of the most awsome knives I have ever seen! Thanks for the close up.

Nice Toes
That Marshall Wells line must have been something. I wish we could all walk into our local hardware store and buy some SFO knives like back in the day.

Wow Bob, that Barnsely Bros is truly fantastic! I love that it has been in your family for a long time.
MB and Greedy, on the same lines of what Wazu said, its great to see the Ebony, Pearl and bone all together.
And Mike, what a fantastic Catt! 4 Nagle Re-Blades, amazing.
Cato, I love how deep the jigging on that Marshall Wells is. I think the wide berth for the handle material on Toenail pattern knives is one of the reasons why I like them so much, you can really SEE the handle material.
These are all fantastic knives, some time I will find that Toenail I'm looking for, but for now I will just have to drool over all of yours

I just saw this one on ebay. Its not my knife. But it is different. I've never seen one like it. Clear celluloid handles with A picture of Lincoln on one side. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Henry-Sears-Son ... 4177c6464d

I saw that knife at the Central Kentucky Show.I haven't seen another toe like it.I told the guy who had it that it may have commemorated the 50th anniversary of Lincoln death. The same guy had the Pine Knot toe that caused much discussion on this forum
