Camillus cub scout knife

Post by cazelgetto »

I got this knife at my grandfathers house and was wondering what year it is and how can i probably clean it without ruining its aged look. I couldn't get my pictures attached but on this forum it has a picture of the same knife it is the one with the blue handle and the diamond cub scout logo and a slanted text on the blade http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showt ... cout-knife

It looks pretty clean to me, and still has the blade etch, so if you do anything, be gentle. Maybe rub it down with something like Flitz Gun & Knife Cleaner, clean out the joints and inside as best as you can with q-tips, then give it a coat of Ren Wax or Flitz wax. Oh, and lightly oil the joints with some light machine oil.
