Fight'n Roosters,old versus new

Post by johnnierotten »

I posted this to find out others opinions on Fight'n Roosters, old versus new.I know some people are going to say"what do you consider old"so lets say 1990...before versus after.

I think the majority of us will agree that old is definitely better than new when it comes to Case or Bulldogs...But how about Fight'n Roosters???

I have had older ones and have just recently purchased 2 on ebay, but I don't own any newer ones.I have seen and held them and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit...With that being said,I think that the new ones are very comparable to the older ones.

any and all input will be appreciated ` ::tu::

Hi Johnnie,
I was just fixing to try to answer your question on the other post when I saw this one. The new Roosters in my opinion are very nice and very high quality. The new handle material is supposed to last a lifetime. What I like about them is that they are so much different than anybody elses knives. I like knives with blade etch and the Rooster etch is always so cool. And durable too.

Hey Johnnie,

I have owned several of the older Rooster's all the way back to the pre 82 models and like you I have been pleased with the quality. Now I have just recently purchased the Sunfish whittler from James and I have been very pleased with the make and quality. I cannot distinguish any difference in the quality from the older stuff to the newer stuff.

I was just telling James earlier that I had a couple more Fight'N Rooster Sunfish ordered thanks to him and his Rooster ways. ::disgust::  of enticement of the "Kicken Chicken Brand".

Once I get these newer versions in I will follow up with a more detailed evaluation.

Here are the ones heading this way via the Post office.
