what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Actually had to put the sneak on him and 5 doe; it ain't easy sneakin' up on all them eyes and ears. I watched them for about an hour before the wind changed and they smelled me. Then they took off runnin', but were unsure of what was up, so they stopped about 250 yards out. He was only about 100 yards most of the time I watched, but there was a farmhouse in the general direction I would have had to shoot, so no shot.

Jerryd6818 has been reluctant to add a picture of himself to this thread, but since I pestered him so much about it, he sent me one of himself via PM. He also sent me a pic of his car with some of the refrigerator magnets and trinkets he's picked up since late 90's early 2000's. Looking good Jerry. Hang in there Bro, there's better times a comin'. I think the little guy top center of the car might be the tang stamp I'm trying to identify.

Jeez, T.J. That's not me and that's not my car. My car doesn't go to Walmart.

Since you're being so doggone persistent, this is a recent picture of me. That's my normal position and attire (or lack thereof), so when you're reading my posts, think of this picture.

And this is what I'm driving these days. Yes folks. That is genuine Faux Leopard from L'Joanne Fabrique and the bumpers are vintage shag carpet.

That puts me in mind of an ex-girlfriend; din' need no shoehorn fer that 'un. Sad thing, though; took her fishin' once and she saw her reflection in the water off'n the dock, thought it was a canoe and stepped in and drowned. ::facepalm::

I thought I would post this picture that was taken at the Queen Collectors show in Titusville this past summer. Bret, myself, & Tyler were lucky enough to get to meet Charlie (UpNorth) and talk knives. I have always respected Charlie's knowledge & opinion. It was great to meet another AAPK member!

Charlie and the lovely Mrs. Upnorth here through Oregon early last month (September) and we were able to get together for lunch. We had a very nice visit. Charlie is still collecting knives, but he said he is taking a break from the knife forums. He still reads them some, but said he is not posting much. He did assist in the BF 2011 club knife. Anyone who knows Charlie can see his influence in the 2011 BF knife! ::tu::

Charlie has other interests he has been pursuing, but is still adding to his knife collection.
He did say that he would be back; he is just taking a break now. ::nod::

And of course, I'm the GOOD lookin' one on the end!

It was indeed a pleasure to meet Kathy, Bret and Tyler, especially at a knife show!
Keen collectors, and really friendly folks with good senses of humor, I had a hard time being my usual grouchy self! 8)
Thanks for posting the pic Kathy! And for showing me your great collection!

Always nice to see you on your home turf also, Dale! Oregon is the Knifest State in the Union!
Everyone must go to the Oregon Knife show once in there lives! At least!

I do miss AAPK! I'm slowly returning - I've reopened my store to help me refine my collection, which is my big project now that I am (mostly) retired.
I never realized that a person actually gets busier when they retire!
See you all lots more. Thanks for missing me - it is mutual. . . . .
Utopia!! A chicken in every pot!! And a Barlow in every pocket!!!

Hey TJ, I've not been up that way in several years. When Dad had the car lot, we was in Cincinnati almost every Friday. There was a car auction, off of Paddock Rd., down at the fairgrounds that we went to. I sure spent alot of Fridays down in that hole.
